Food Distribution - School Breaks:

For longer times away from school (Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Spring) families need to stop by the GoPacks office in Marietta to pick up the vacation food. Please note, that the vacation food typically includes perishables and is too large to send through the schools.

We typically offer multiple pick up days for vacations and if work schedules or transportation issues arise, we can make other arrangements, as needed.

Will you explain to your student(s) their role in picking up food? *

None of our programs are hand-out programs. Each family/students enrolled is part of the team. We all work together. Here is a breakdown of responsibilities:

Food Distribution - Weekends:

During the school year GoPacks will provide breakfasts, lunches & snacks to provide for the days away from school.

Elementary Students (P-6th grade) will be assigned a cloth bag that they will take home from the school each week, and return the following week.

Middle School & High School Students (7-12 grade) need to stop by the Pack & Go Store each week (located in the school), where they will receive two free bundles.

Home School Students need to have someone from the family stop by the GoPacks office (located in Marietta) once a week to pick up food.

Do you understand that for longer breaks, we ask families to stop by the GoPacks office prior to the vacation to pick up food? *

Event Attendance:

All families must participate in a least one Resource Building Activity.

We host & endorse many events & classes throughout the year. All of them are free. (Events include Family Swim Nights, Cooking Clubs, Gardening Workshops, Financial Literacy & mores.) You are welcome to attend as many as you want. However, someone from the family must attend at least one event before the end of the school year.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

Parents of students attending ELEMENTARY schools must attend 2 Parent-Teacher Conferences each school year.

Do you agree to attend a Parent-Teacher Conference in the fall, and a second one in the spring? *

Through our On Track with GoPacks program feature, students can earn invitations for the whole family to attend Reward Parties and even earn Camp Scholarships.

Each quarter students who have no more than 12 hours of UNEXCUSED absences and stay out of the principal's office for bad behavior will earn a party invitation. At the end of the year, the students with the best behavior and attendance records will receive a scholarship for a week of summer camp. (Various camps available, from day camps to sleep away camps.)
